Yes. Our included warranty features coverage for one year on workmanship, two years for wiring, piping, and ductwork, and 10 years on the structure of the home.

When you build a custom home, you are involved from the start. We can help you with your floor plan, material selections, and tailor to your needs; finding ways to add special touches that will make the house your dream home.

We can help you select the ideal home site for your new, custom home. Choosing a home site is one of the first steps in starting the building process. First, check out the buildout lots that we have available.

If you are looking something outside our currently available lots, then we can help refer you to other properties in your desired area or we can connect you with one our trusted real estate agents to continue the home site search process. Whether it’s a lot in a developed subdivision, a raw piece of property on several acres or an infill lot with a tear down house, we have years of experience helping clients find a home site they love.

Absolutely. We would love to be involved as early as possible to help with site planning, layout, and coordination of utilities and services to the building site.

Yes, we welcome your floor plan and ideas. With your permission we will be glad to offer our advice and any expertise in planning your for your build.

Most clients get a construction loan to finance the building of a new home. Construction loans typically require a down payment (from 10-20% depending on the lending institution) and generally last the time required to build a home (typically 12 months). Payments (draws) are disbursed on the loan as the work is completed. Once the project is complete, the construction loan is converted/refinanced into a traditional mortgage. We have several lending institutions that we work with regularly and would be happy to share their contact information with you for further review of information and rates.

If you have a building site identified, plans completed along with some of your design and finish parameters, we can give you a very accurate price to build your home.

We understand and respect each client’s need to know the anticipated cost of a new home before investing time or money into both plans and property. Once we know some general parameters of your project, we will do our best to give you the range of costs we would expect.

Some decisions for your home are a matter of color choice, while other decisions require setting up an appointment to go over all of your options. We work with a very knowledgeable group of vendors. They know and understand the current trends and how to maximize value in your selections.

Once you make decisions with each of our vendors, those choices are entered into Co-Construct, a web-based software program that allows us to store all of the selection information for your project in one place. This allows your project manager and any subcontractors to know exactly what they need to install.

Some of our clients may choose to hire an interior designer to attend these vendor meetings with them and help make selection decisions. Additional help from an interior designer is welcomed, but not required.

Yes. If you don’t have your own interior designer, we can recommend one of several talented designers we have worked with in the past.

It typically takes about 8-12 months to build a custom home. The size of the home, the type of foundation (crawl space or basement), weather, customer changes and special finishes are all variables that affect how long it takes to build your home.

Yes. We are always available to meet with you on-site. Additionally, we have several scheduled walk-throughs with our clients throughout the building process.

  • Pre-Construction
This meeting focuses on how your home will be oriented on the property.
  • Post-Foundation
Once the foundation is in and the framing is complete, we will have a walk-through to layout your lighting and other “rough-in” details.
  • Post-Drywall
After drywall is installed, we will meet you to go over closet shelving layouts, built-ins, and other specialty trim work.
  • Pre-Move In
Before you move into your new home, we will have a homeowner orientation to show you everything you need to know about your new home and make sure you are completely satisfied with our work.

While we always take measures to keep our job sites safe, we ask that you use caution when visiting any construction site.
